Enchanting Equipment
Introduction
In TibiaScape, it is possible, through "Crafting", to improve items and their attributes using "Ores".
*ATTENTION*
All processes may fail and/or worsen an item’s attribute, consuming the Ore. However, none of these processes will destroy the item being enchanted.
]
In TibiaScape, we currently have 5 different Ores.
Mystic Ore
The Mystic Ore is used to alter the value of an attribute of your weapon.
For example: In this case, initially the Plate Legs had +1.6% healing, and after using 3 Mystic Ores, we were able to improve it to 2.1%.
Rarity Ore
The Rarity Ore is used to ADD an attribute to an item that has an Empty Slot.
For example: In this case, the weapon had an Empty Slot, and by using the Rarity Ore, the attribute "Chance to deal bonus damage" was added to this slot.
Nullify Ore
The Nullify Ore is used to remove an attribute from an item, but ATTENTION, it can only be used to remove attributes from Slots that are not [LOCKED].
For example: In this case, the item had a non-[LOCKED] slot with the attribute "Chance to deal bonus damage", and after using the Nullify Ore, the attribute was removed, and the slot became Empty again.
Cursed Ore
The Cursed Ore is used to alter the Tier of an item (+1, +2, +3, …, +10).
It can only be used on items that have some rarity.
VERY IMPORTANT: This Ore works slightly differently from the others, as it will return the item to its initial stage (+0) if it fails!!! The success probability works as follows: From +1 to +10, the chance to upgrade the tier is 50% success and 50% failure, but if it fails, you go back to +0.
For example: In this case, the Wand of Inferno was +0 and after using the Cursed Ore, it became +1.
Magic Ore
The Magic Ore is used to transform a normal item into an item with Rarity (Unidentified).
Enchanting Skill
Using ores on equipment increases your enchanting skill.
Current official information is that the higher the enchanting skill, the less chance of the ore breaking without working.
Values Threshold -
Keep in mind that the stronger the monster that dropped the item, higher the values of the atributes will be.
Example (Disregard the values used here, those are just for demonstration purposes):
- A Boots of Haste from a necromancer +0 will roll from 1 to +50 speed, a Boots of Haste from Ghaz'Haragoth will roll from 1 to +200 speed.
Also when you increase the tier from your item(+1...+10) you also increase the max value range.
Example (Disregard the values used here, those are just for demonstration purposes):
- A Boots of Haste +0 from necromancer will roll from 1 to +50 speed, a Boots of Haste +10 from necromancer will roll from 1 to +70 speed.
Tips and Advice:
Where to get the ores:
- Mining
- Dungeon Rewards
- Demonic Creatures
- Pirate Invasions across the map
- Some random creature drops
Should i always try to improve my item?
- Enchanting works like a gamble, the odds of you getting what you'd expect easily are really low, which means that you'll have to invest alot of ores to improve your item unless you are really lucky so be wise.
TibiaScape is, for a great part, an item driven game. You dont need to have the best item for every circunstance, but if you do it goes a long way, so choose you item carefully before trying to improve it.
You can Reforge an Item with Rarity using the Exaltation Forge and make it unidentified again
- For example: If you have a common Boots of Haste with +10 speed you can reforge it and maybe it will become a Rare/Epic/Ancient/Legendary/Mythic Boots of Haste with another atribute
