Instead of instantly being drained you have the chance to play around this mechanic.

There is currently 4 different known telegraphs

• exori version, close encounter mana drain
• wave version, drains mana from a distance in a wave form
• beam version, drains mana from a distance in a beam form (shown on picture)
• one sqm in front, melee sort of hit draining in front of monster towards player
